I guess that’s how all blogs start really and this the start of our blog ‘Deadly Illusions’ the blog of Blackout Productions! Why Deadly Illusions? A good number of reasons really – it was the first film we made and since then the films we have made have been of the deadly nature! Murderous Magicians, Burlesque Serial Killers and Mad Professors so far and even if we did a rom com or something like that, chances are we’d have to bump someone off!

So why are we here? Simply, to tell anyone who’ll listen about what we’re up to. We’ve just equipped ourselves with a Canon Eos 7D digtal SLR camera and so far we’re incredibly impressed with what it can do. It’s taken our movie making to the next level so we don’t have to worry about hiring thousands of pounds worth of equipment to get that elusive film look the audiences expect to see.
